today i went to the Engineering Mathematics class. Eng Maths is famous among the students of Mechanical Engineering for its toughness. very high failing rate and low distinction rate. It is a nightmare!
But, Eng Maths is actually overrated. it is not that hard if you really into it. The keypoint is to master the basic maths before jumping into Eng Maths. Eng Maths is more to combining several basic maths into 1 fuzzy logics.
Today we learn about MacLaurin Series. I don't know what i it all about. but, i enjoy learning it. simply, Maclaurin Series is a shortcut for differentiation of higher power of X terms, up to 6 and 7 times.
The higher the terms, the more differentiation involved. but the good thing is, we repeat the easier differentiation instead of complex ones. then, we compile all of them in a single rule, which result a very neat answer with accurate result :D
duh, I love eng maths now.
