Surviving This Era

I don't know how to describe this.
I feel more and more disappointed with this world we are living in.
I don't know where to put my faith anymore.
Everything is suspicious and uncertain.

I don't know why I put myself in this situation.
I guess it is greed who drive us to do unnecessary things.
Why we eat a lot although we just need a little portion to live?
Why we want something that looks great but useless?
Why we want to look attractive in people's eye?
Why we want to have power over others?
Why we leave behind modest life and enter the highly demanding cruel world?

If we think again, we don't need to be too rich, or too powerful, or too sexy or too fat,
We need to live accordingly, not comfortably.
Comfort is another word for laziness and stupidity.

Narrated Mujahid: ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said, “Allah’s Apostle took hold of my shoulder and said, ‘Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveller.” The sub-narrator added: Ibn ‘Umar used to say, “If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.” [Bukhari]

Rasulullah(saw) said, I leave you with two things. If you abide by them you will never be led astray, and that is the Quran and hadith
